Tara Nicole Tonsor is a designer, illustrator, and "creative junkie." She works under the name See{k} Design as a freelance designer and illustrator on variety of business identities to wedding invitations. She also works part-time at the Nelson-Atkins Museum as an art educator for children and adults. Tara has had a variety solo and group exhibitions of her collage and mixed-media art on wood and paper. An avid collector of junk, Tara Tonsor has also created a jewelry collection featuring a range of natural materials and antique tidbits combined to create one-of-a-kind jewelry called "Lost & Found." A graduate of The University of Kansas, majoring in graphic design and illustration, Tara always has her hands busy whether on the computer, with a pair of scissors or a paintbrush, knitting, printmaking, or jewelry-making. She likes calm quiet places in busy loud spaces, and can be found wherever there is coffee.
